Email Digests

If you don't want to check the dashboard constantly or set up a webhook, Email Digests are the perfect way to stay informed.

How it Works

Redd tracks which matches you have already seen. If a monitor finds new matches while you are away, it can send you an email summary.

Enabling Emails

1. Go to your Monitor Settings.
2. Toggle the "Email Notifications" switch.
3. Choose your frequency (e.g., Immediate, Hourly, or Daily).

What's in the Email?

Each digest includes:

• The name of the monitor that triggered the matches.
• A summary of the new matches (Title, Author, Subreddit).
• Direct Links: Click any match to go straight to the Reddit thread.
• Matched Values: See exactly why each item was flagged.

Managing Noise

To avoid flooding your inbox:

• Redd only sends emails for unseen matches.
• If multiple matches occur within a short window, they are bundled into a single digest.
• You can disable emails for specific monitors while keeping them active for others.

No Password Required

Since Redd uses passwordless login, your email is already verified. There is no additional setup required to start receiving digests.
