AI Credits
Redd uses a simple, transparent credit system for its AI-powered features. This allows us to offer core monitoring for free while providing advanced AI capabilities on a pay-as-you-go basis.

How to Get Credits
Credits can be purchased directly through the Redd dashboard.
- No Subscriptions: You buy a bundle of credits and use them at your own pace.
- No Expiration: Your credits never expire.
- Top-ups: You can set up alerts to be notified when your credit balance is low.
Monitoring Usage
You can track your credit consumption in the Billing section of your account. We provide a detailed log showing:
- Which monitor used the credits.
- The timestamp of the operation.
- The type of AI operation (Filter vs. Reply).
What happens if I run out?
If your credit balance reaches zero:
- AI Filtering: Monitors will continue to run, but the AI filtering step will be skipped. You will see all matches that pass your boolean logic.
- AI Replies: The "Generate Reply" button will be disabled until you add more credits.
Core Features are Always Free
You do not need credits to use Redd for standard keyword and subreddit monitoring. Credits are strictly for the optional AI enhancements.
